A typical Seattle morning commute.

We survived the Seattle Gift Show and we have new stuff.

Hahaha! How's that for a blog post title? All of the above is true. We were exhibitors at the Seattle Gift Show that was held on January 23 - 25. This was our second time at a trade show.

When we have to work in Seattle we bus in. Which can be a roller coaster like ride first thing in the morning.

Unlike retail shows we've vended at, the pace of the trade show was not as fast paced. Definitely more professional. I was thankful for a hiding spot behind the pole and drapes to eat snacks at.

Dropping a ton of crumbs behind our booth!

We actually had the opportunity to meet and talk to our fellow vendors which was actually really cool. We're pretty excited about meeting a company from Alaska called Tidal Vision. They introduced us to salmon leather. Yep, salmon LEATHER. It's awesome, but they have even more impressive things up their sleeves. Definitely check them out.

In general, Seattle Gift was a great show for us. We're excited to take on some new wholesale and manufacturing accounts. We're also excited to roll out some new products...

Reusable 8 bit cup cake topper 6 packs coming this week!

We've expanded on our "Happy" line - meet Happy Mountain and Happy Tree. They were a bit hit with our stockists.

There's a few more things we have coming too, but they deserve more than just a teaser post like this.

We hope you closed out the first month of 2016 well and are having a great start to the second one.

Something fun is coming soon.... (it has nothing to do with the papyrus font though.)

Coming soon...

January 20, 2016 by Thea Starr in Shop Update

It's the week of the Seattle Gift Show. It's the first trade show of the year for us. It's an exciting time. We get to visit with our awesome existing stockists and meet new ones from all over the region. We've already been contacted by a few that we're really excited to meet in person later this week.

The photo above is a hint to some new products that we're introducing to buyers at the Seattle Gift Show. Shortly after that we'll introduce them to you! We're pretty excited about it.

Weekly Menu Chalkboard *updated*

As mentioned in a recent previous post, I mentioned that we've updated a few of our products. Just little adjustments and refinements. Like changing the wording on our weekly menu chalkboards. Not everyone cooks for their family. Some have special diets that they need to track personally. New wording, same great design.

I'm about to fill mine up so I know what I'm making the family for dinner this week while we're at the trade show.

We'll be posting pictures from the Seattle Gift Show on our Instagram account (@ 6by6arts). So be sure to follow our shenanigans there too.
